We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing transport team. Based out of Corby/Kettering, you'll be collecting ferry trailers and delivering to customer sites across the UK. This will include loads like giant paper rolls, used to make cardboard boxes for home deliveries. This will involve tipping, reloading, and returning to the docks, helping keep vital supply chains moving.
Responsibilities
- Timely collections and deliveries across the UK
- Safe transport of goods using curtainsider trailers
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Accurate record-keeping of deliveries and driving hours
- Compliance with all road safety and transport regulations
About You
You’re a professional Class 1 Driver who takes pride in doing the job right. Whether your background is in general haulage, fridge work, or both, you’re thorough with vehicle checks, safety-conscious, and confident working independently. You’re up to date with your CPC, DIGI card, and driving hours, and you bring a customer-first attitude to every job. Experience with ferry trailers or dockside operations is a bonus. This role is ideal for someone seeking steady, well-organised work with a supportive transport team.
