Are you interested in an opportunity to join DFDS’s Logistics Standardisation PMO, where you’ll be involved in driving standardisation initiatives globally? In this role, you’ll split your time between managing key standardisation projects and collaborating closely with a network of standardisation coaches across different countries to ensure strong engagement and smooth implementation of process changes resulting from these efforts.

As the Project- and Change Manager in DFDS’s Logistics Standardisation PMO, you will report directly to the Head of Logistics Standardisation PMO and be an integral part of the Operations Management Team.

In this role, you will work closely with standardisation coaches across multiple countries to foster engagement and ensure accountability in standardisation initiatives.

A key responsibility will be establishing continuous feedback loops with these coaches to align efforts and ensure successful implementation of process changes.

You will act as the primary liaison between standardisation coaches and internal teams, addressing challenges and supporting the smooth adoption of new processes. Additionally, you will manage ad hoc projects related to process standardisation, ensuring timely execution and monitoring progress. Regular communication with stakeholders will be essential to maintain momentum and accountability, while tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of these efforts, offering insights for ongoing improvements.

What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?:

In this role, you can expect to tackle a variety of exciting challenges that will shape the future of DFDS’s logistics standardisation efforts.

You will be responsible for driving engagement with standardisation coaches across multiple countries, ensuring they are fully invested in the process changes being implemented. This requires not only excellent communication skills but also the ability to navigate diverse teams and cultural differences, creating alignment and accountability within a dynamic environment.

Another key challenge will be establishing and maintaining continuous feedback loops between coaches, internal teams, and stakeholders. This ensures that the standardisation initiatives are not only well-received but also adaptable and effective in real-time. You will need to stay on top of evolving needs, offering creative solutions to drive successful implementation across different offices.

In addition, you will manage various ad hoc projects, which can range from improving operational processes to supporting new digital tools. Balancing these responsibilities while keeping stakeholders informed will require strong project management and organizational skills. Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics Standardisation PMO, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the standardisation strategy and contributing to the overall success of DFDS’s operations.

With this in mind, we think the ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • A solid background in project and change management, with experience in managing process-driven initiatives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams across different countries and cultures.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and maintain continuous feedback loops to ensure alignment and accountability.

  • A proactive mindset, capable of identifying challenges and implementing creative solutions in dynamic environments.

  • Experience in working with or within operational teams, particularly in a logistics or process standardisation context.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple ad hoc projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on key deliverables.

  • Comfortable reporting to senior leadership and contributing to strategic discussions within a management team.

  • An understanding of standardisation practices and methodologies would be an advantage, but is not required.

  • A university degree in a business or logistics related subject.

  • The ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis.
