About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting fresh and frozen produce to distribution centres and wholesaler outlets in a timely and safe manner. This role will be working nights.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Safely operate and drive refrigerated trucks to transport perishable goods to various destinations
- Ensure all products are properly loaded, secured and maintained at the appropriate temperature during transit
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise.
About You
We are looking for an outgoing and flexible individual with a passion for delivering great customer service. You must hold a current HGV Class 1 Licence, CPC and DIGI card with experience in fridge work. Good knowledge of drivers hours regulations will be advantageous.
