About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver to join our fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the transporting of chill and ambient goods to our customers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo.

Additionally, this will involve multi drops and working within the warehouse.

This requires a strong dedication to safety, attention to detail and excellent driving skills.

  • Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery
  • Minimise the risk of accidents
  • At all times deliver excellent customer service
  • Adhere to road transport regulations
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept to regulatory safety standards
  • To assist with unloading at store
  • To accurately record all activities in line with legislation and company requirements

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need a valid UK HGV driving licence, along with an up-to-date Driver CPC.

A strong understanding of road safety and transport legislation is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to ensure smooth operations and maintain high service standards.
