About the role

Working Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, you’ll support local delivery and collection operations, ensuring goods are moved safely, efficiently, and with a high level of customer service. This role offers variety, including some van and Class 2 work, and regular interaction with customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles on scheduled delivery and collection routes
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out routine vehicle checks and ensuring legal compliance
  • Planning routes to meet delivery schedules
  • Providing a friendly, professional service to customers
  • Completing paperwork and transport documentation accurately
  • Supporting van or Class 2 duties when required

About you

You will have a Class 1 HGV Licence, with valid CPC and DIGI card. Additionally, you’ll thrive in this role if you’re reliable, take initiative, and manage your time well. Good communication skills and a positive attitude are key, especially as this is a customer‑facing position. You’ll be joining a welcoming, friendly, and outgoing team, where approachability and teamwork are highly valued.
