About the role

Working Monday to Friday, 06:00–16:00, you’ll be part of the team responsible for handling goods in and out of our coldstore and ambient loading bays. You’ll be using RF gun terminals and various types of MHE to manage stock, pick orders, and ensure everything is labelled and recorded correctly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Booking in and labelling stock using RF gun terminals
  • Operating MHE (T20 pallet trucks, counterbalance, reach trucks)
  • Picking and checking orders, matching paperwork with goods and trailers
  • Loading/unloading trailers, including handballing boxes from containers
  • Recording product temperatures and maintaining accurate data
  • Maintaining hygiene across store, bay, and yard areas
  • Working across ambient, chilled, and coldstore zones, and supporting fresh operations when needed

Weekend overtime may be available and is paid at enhanced rates (1.5x Saturday, 2x Sunday).

About you

Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a coldstore or chilled environment, but full training will be provided. You must be comfortable working in low temperatures and occasionally in the fish warehouse chillers. We’ll provide full PPE to keep you safe and warm. You’ll need certification for power pallet trucks, counterbalance and reach trucks, or be willing to train. Basic IT literacy is important, as you’ll be using RF guns, tablets, and screens throughout the day. Flexibility is key, sometimes tasks run over or weekend work is needed, and a willingness to help out won’t go unnoticed.

We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all. And we cannot wait for you to join.
