About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced mechanics and develop the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to build a successful career within the transport and logistics industry. Working as part of our workshop team, you'll receive hands-on training while supporting the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting qualified mechanics with vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs
- Learning how to diagnose faults and identify maintenance requirements
- Supporting routine maintenance activities and workshop operations
- Using tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Completing training, coursework, and practical assessments as part of your apprenticeship
- Following health and safety procedures and learning industry best practices
About you
No previous experience is required for this role. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, willing to learn, and keen to develop a career as a mechanic. You'll be adaptable, physically fit, and comfortable working in a practical, hands-on environment. You'll thrive in this role if you're reliable, motivated, and enjoy understanding how things work. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions are important. Someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to their own development will be well suited to this apprenticeship opportunity.
