About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to take ownership of regulatory and technical compliance across our Liverpool, Grimsby, and Deeside sites. This new role is pivotal in ensuring consistent compliance standards during an exciting period of growth and transformation. The successful candidate will lead compliance oversight, strengthen frameworks, and act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for
- Overseeing compliance activities across multiple sites, ensuring policies, procedures, and standards are consistently applied.
- Monitoring regulatory requirements (BRCGS, MHRA, HACCP) and implement timely updates to maintain adherence.
- Leading and coordinating audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, ensuring operational readiness.
- Delivering training and guidance to staff on compliance protocols, SOPs, and regulatory changes.
- Providing clear reports and recommendations to senior management, addressing risks and opportunities for improvement.
About you
You will be an experienced compliance professional with a proven background in regulatory, technical, or quality-focused roles, ideally within warehousing, logistics, food, or pharmaceutical environments. With strong knowledge of frameworks such as BRCGS, HACCP, MHRA, and health & safety standards, you will bring both expertise and confidence to managing compliance across multi-site operations. You are comfortable leading audits and inspections, developing SOPs, and embedding robust quality systems, while also acting as a trusted point of contact for customers and regulatory bodies.
You\’ll be a clear and effective communicator who can train, influence, and engage colleagues at all levels, with the ability to balance independent decision-making with collaborative teamwork. Adaptable and proactive, you thrive in dynamic environments and are willing to travel between sites to maintain consistent standards. Your experience within multi-temperature or food-grade warehousing will be a valuable asset in supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient growth of our operations.
