About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-conscious HIAB Driver, working Monday to Friday days, to join our transport team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB), ensuring excellent service and compliance with all relevant regulations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Operating a HIAB vehicle to load, transport, and unload goods at various customer sites
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment is in safe working order
  • Securing loads safely and in accordance with legal requirements
  • Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office
  • Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices for job tracking
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service

You’ll be part of a supportive and experienced logistics team, working with modern vehicles and equipment. The role may involve early starts, and varied delivery locations.

About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you hold a valid Class 2 or Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card, along with a valid HIAB certificate. You should have experience operating HIAB equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and service. Reliability and punctuality are key, as is taking pride in delivering excellent service. The ability to work independently while maintaining clear and professional communication with both customers and colleagues will also be essential to your success in this role.
