About the role
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our transport team as a Traffic Operator Apprentice. This is a permanent apprenticeship role, working Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while working towards a Traffic Operator Apprenticeship.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting transport administration tasks such as booking in deliveries and managing PODs
- Updating drivers and assisting the planning and operational teams
- Learning how to use transport systems and processes to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicating with internal teams and external partners to support service delivery
You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team that works collaboratively to meet daily objectives. Full training will be provided, and you’ll be guided every step of the way as you build your knowledge and confidence.
About you
You don’t need prior experience, just a positive attitude, good communication skills, and basic computer literacy. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re calm under pressure, enjoy working in a team, and are eager to develop your knowledge in the fast-paced world of transport. Being open to learning new systems and handling daily challenges with a proactive mindset will help you succeed in this role.
