About the role

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all passenger operations, providing excellent customer service throughout the departure and arrival process.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for all travellers, while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.

You will be required to work any 5 from 7, between 08:00-17:00.

Please note this role is a 0 hour contract until November 2026.

  • You will be responsible for
  • Assisting with all aspects of passenger departure and arrival procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Managing the passenger check-in process, providing a friendly and efficient service to all customers.
  • Responding to passenger enquiries and offering support to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Liaising with third-party stakeholders such as the Port of Tyne, UK Border Force, and Special Branch to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Meeting performance targets related to speed, service quality, efficiency, and sales while keeping up to date with industry developments and procedures.

About you

You will be a confident, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

With proven experience in resolving customer issues, you bring strong communication skills and the ability to explain processes and procedures clearly and patiently.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other relevant software will support you in performing your role efficiently.
