About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to join our Trailer Workshop supporting the day-to-day maintenance and movement of trailers. This role combines practical workshop duties with administrative responsibilities, ensuring trailers are serviced, compliant, and ready for use in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role requires you to work a varied shift pattern, which will include days, evenings and potential nights - shift allowance and overtime available.

You will be responsible for:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and carrying out repairs on trailers to ensure they remain safe and roadworthy.
  • Supporting occasional cross-docking operations to assist with the efficient movement of goods.
  • Completing all required administration accurately, ensuring work is recorded, processed, and booked out on relevant systems.
  • Refuelling refrigerated trailers and monitoring fuel levels to maintain temperature-controlled operations.
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure minimal downtime and smooth daily operations.
