We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Assistant to our team. As part of your job, you will help people in their homes by making sure they are comfortable, safe, and healthy. By helping them with everyday tasks and encouraging their independence, a care assistant may significantly improve the quality of life for the people they look after.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in daily living activities including meal preparation and medication management.
- Help implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or within a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is essential for success in this role.

Our recruitment process

- Attend our Stafford office for induction, issue of PPE and uniform, and be assigned your shadow shifts.

School hour work is offered as a 0-hour contract. We offer permanent contracts from 10-37.5 hours per week with plenty of work across Staffordshire!
