We are looking for a Talent Manager to lead our recruitment strategy across all areas of the business. While the focus will be on general recruitment, you will also be responsible for overseeing our early careers activity, ensuring we continue to build a strong pipeline of future talent.

THE ROLE
As our Talent Manager, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, supporting hiring managers across all teams to attract and appoint the best talent. You will be responsible for designing and delivering an efficient, engaging, and inclusive recruitment process—from workforce planning and sourcing strategies to selection, offers, and onboarding.
This is a hands-on and varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working at pace, thrives on building strong relationships, and is passionate about candidate experience. In addition to experienced hiring, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our early careers agenda—developing partnerships with educational institutions and ensuring high-potential students and graduates have clear routes into the business through placements, internships, and entry-level roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all recruitment activity across DF Capital, managing end-to-end hiring processes for a range of roles and departments.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand recruitment needs and deliver effective sourcing plans.
- Manage job design, advert creation, candidate screening, and interview coordination, ensuring a smooth and professional process for candidates and stakeholders.
- Champion a positive candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador throughout the recruitment journey.
- Deliver on workforce planning and build strong talent pipelines for current and future needs.
- Use data and insight to inform hiring decisions and continuously improve recruitment performance.
- Oversee the delivery of our early careers strategy, including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate pathways.
- Maintain and grow partnerships with colleges, universities, and training providers to attract emerging talent.
- Support the design of placement and development programmes that provide real value to both participants and the business.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, sharing insights and driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure inclusive and equitable hiring practices that support our diversity and inclusion goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced or growing business.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to advise hiring managers at all levels.
- Ability to juggle multiple roles and priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of early careers routes and frameworks (e.g., apprenticeships, T Levels) is beneficial, but not essential.
- A passion for talent acquisition and a desire to make a real impact through your work.

- Confidence using recruitment systems, sourcing tools, and data to drive performance.
