The Financial Reporting Analyst plays acriticalsupportive role to ourboth our Head of Regulatory Reporting, Capital Management and Stress Testingand the Director of Capital Management and Regulatory Reporting.
We are looking for an individual that hasan interest in developing their knowledgeandexpertiseacross the following key areas:
Regulatory Reporting : Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Bank of England (BOE)and the Financial Conduct authority (FCA);

Whatyou’llbe doing
- Regulatory Reporting
- Producingtimelyandaccurateexternal regulatory reportingsubmissionsand internal MI, including LCR, PRA110, FINREP, Co REP, Bank of England statistical reportingand ALCoreporting;
- Reviewing and challenging data inputs and outputs, performing detailed quality checks and validation to ensure regulatory information is prepared accurately, consistently and in line with internal standards and externalrequirements;
- Supportingandstrengtheninga robust controlenvironment through thedevelopment and maintenanceof interpretation guidance, standard operatingprocedures and working files;
- Supporting the delivery ofkeyregulatory projects and change, including the Bank’s transition tothe SDDTcapital regime andthe implementation ofnew regulatoryrequirements;
- Supporting the review and implementation of new products, including reporting requirements and key metric impacts(e. g., capital and liquidity ratios)
- Stress Testing&Capital Management
- Support performing stress testing analysis for the ICAAP, Recovery Plan and Solvent Exit Analysis as well as ad-hoc stress testing, asrequired.
- Support the preparation of stress testing working paperssummarisingmodel outputsandmaintainingprocess documentation.
- Support with capital forecasting, capital planning buffers, and forward-looking assessments of CET1, Total Capital, leverage ratio, and RWAs.
- Prepare monthly BBB reporting submissions, identifyand elevate anomalies or emerging trends, maintaindocumentation, and support periodic informationrequest and datacollection exercises.
- Support providing senior management with analysis and recommendations on capital optimisation, dividend strategy, lending growth, and RWA efficiency.
- Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborating with teams acrossthe Bank tomaintainhigh standardsof assurance and reviewoverregulatory returnsandstress testing;
- Monitor adherence to regulations, standardsand internal reporting policies; and
- Supportthewider Finance team in the preparation ofad hoc MIasrequired
Whatyou’llneed
- 2+ years of experience in financial or regulatory reporting, ideallywithin a Bankor similarinstitution.
- Strongattention to detail andfocus on delivering high-qualityand controlledend-to-endprocesses
- Excellent analyticaland problem-solvingskills, with the ability toinvestigateand resolve complex issues, andtoanalyselarge data sets andcalculationstoderive meaningful insights.
- Excellentorganisationalskills and a proven ability todelivermeet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Competentuserof Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word.
- Can-doand continuousimprovementmindset.
- Clearcommunicatorwho candevelop their ability totranslate technical concepts to senior members of the team.
