Requirements

We are looking for a Client Services Manager to provide hands-on operational and relationship support across our portfolio of invoice finance clients.

Having a customer-focused and collaborative mindset, you will be the day-to-day contact for customer queries, ensuring facilities run smoothly, whilst acting as front line risk manager through observation of key trends, early warning indicators and debt verification.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of invoice finance clients.
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with business owners, finance teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to understand trading performance, funding needs, and operational challenges.
  • Monitor client utilisation, concentration levels, and collateral quality to ensure facilities operate within agreed parameters.
  • Completion of debt verification in line with policy requirements
  • Identify early warning signs of financial stress or collateral deterioration and take appropriate action to mitigate risk.
  • Review monthly management information, debtor books, and audit findings to maintain a healthy portfolio.
  • Ensure smooth day to day operation of invoice finance facilities, resolving queries around payments, reconciliations, and availability.
  • Work closely with underwriting, risk, and operations teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into live operation.
  • Identify opportunities to increase facility utilisation, complementary products, and support client expansion.
  • Contribute to portfolio growth targets through strong client retention and proactive account development.
  • Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic understanding of financial statements, debtor books, and credit risk.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to balance commercial opportunity with sound risk judgement.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Confident using CRM systems, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office.
