Main Purpose of the Role
We require a confident property professional to help us continue our successful provision of residential conveyancing. This role will manage a team with a case load of around 75 files to provide a first class customer service experience to clients referred to our business by a dedicated group of property professionals.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Experience in Leasehold and Freehold Purchases and Sales
- Undertake the role of a Conveyancer with due diligence at all times and ensure that the best interests of the client, any mortgage lender and Dezrez legal are adequately protected.
- To deal effectively with clients and introducers both over the telephone and in written correspondence in order to provide advice and assistance to them in relation to residential property matters in England and Wales.
- To ensure that you and your team verify client identification in accordance with Dezrez legalβs AML policy and procedure.
- To make contact with the branch manager of each allocated introducer at least once a month and to disseminate appropriate feedback.
- To ensure that all completion statements are produced accurately and in a timely manner.
- To identify and address any training requirements in your team in a timely manner and provide appropriate opportunities for Continued Professional Development.
- Log in Contract papers and raise relevant enquiries
- Report to clients on Contract matters throughout the transaction
- To Interpret and report on mortgage offers.
- The ordering, interpretation, and reporting of searches.
- Primary responsibility for purchase transactions.
- To promote and develop the business for the benefit of Dezrez legal Ltd.
- To attend courses relevant to your position and maintain Continuing Professional Development records as appropriate and required.
- To maintain a good up to date working knowledge of relevant aspects of the law other than those specified above to allow cross discipline advice to be given.
- To keep up to date with changes in the law and maintain and disseminate information to other colleagues in relation thereto.
- To undertake such administrative duties as your Employer may reasonably require from time to time.
