SCP is looking for a sales coordinator to join its team based in London.
This is a fast-paced role, where you will support the sales team, working on a diverse range of projects by preparing detailed quotes and managing sales processes. Strong organisational and administrative skills are essential.
Our projects span all sectors of the design industry from commercial offices to hospitality and residential developments. You will build a rapport with our clients and suppliers, providing exceptional service, while expanding your knowledge about new products and trends.
Experience in the furniture industry is preferred, merchandising, logistics, or sales administration is a plus. A good knowledge in contemporary furniture and lighting is essential and an ability to understand floor plans and technical drawings is preferred.
Key responsibilities:
- create quotes and manage orders, ensuring efficient customer transactions
- collaborate with clients and suppliers to provide exceptional service and build strong relationships
- maintain accurate sales records and reports, ensuring projects are on track
- utilise excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage a fast-paced workload
- excellent communication with clients and the sales team
- read and understand floor plans and furniture configurations
- help create sales tools and presentations
- undertake site visits to identify, log and resolve snagging issues
Qualifications and experience:
- minimum two years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in the furniture industry
- strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- efficient time management and exceptional communication skills
- ability to work autonomously and as part of a close team
- ability to manage multiple projects
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
- proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sage and CRM software is a plus
- good knowledge of furniture and lighting design is highly desirable
- working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp is an advantage
