Mid-weight hospitality interior designer

Afroditi is looking for a mid-weight hospitality interior designer to join its team in London. Afroditi was founded in 2002 in an old garage in South London. Founder and product designer Afroditi Krassa brought a radically new approach to hospitality design that led to the creation of some of London’s most iconic projects. From itsu to Dishoom, the holistic and conceptually driven approach resulted in brands that defined their category. Two decades, 150 projects and 40 design awards later, the studio has spread across three continents working with governments, master planners, developers, hotel groups, renowned chefs and mixologists to reimagine the way we consume hospitality experiences. And you You are passionate about design, travel, food and drink and want to be part of a founder-led, purpose-driven, creative studio. Location: work from our studio in London, United Kingdom, full-time, hybrid role with one day per week WFH. Start: immediate. Our 12-people-strong team is growing with new projects in three different continents from London and Chicago to the Indian Ocean. Our client list includes ultra-luxury hotel brands Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, One&Only and Corinthia, cinemas and clubs, celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay & Heston Blumenthal, the coolest of bars and some of the world’s best restaurant groups. We are looking for an experienced F&B/Hospitality Interior Designer to join our community and work on these flagship hospitality and F&B projects. You are/have: a creative thinker passionate and driven experience in hospitality and F&B design with two to five years all-round experience and understanding of the design process able to develop concept and schematic design packs good technical understanding and problem-solving ability good knowledge in FF&E specifications including bespoke furniture and lighting solid visualization skills and great CAD knowledge works well in a collaborative team environment organized and systematic knowledge of hospitality industry including operational needs, branding and positioning, trends in markets, key players and brands up for a new challenge, keen to learn and grow We are/offer: ambitious and dynamic fast-paced opportunity to work on global flagship projects a team of like-minded individuals creatively adventurous our Summer Studio scheme of two weeks of working from a sunny Mediterranean destination We’re looking for people with at least one exceptional quality, so shoot us your CV together with your best five projects and tell us the one thing that makes you special.
