We have a very exciting opportunity here at DEYA in the form of a Packaging Assistant. Are you wonderful, hard working and love being part of a team? As Packaging Assistant, you will work with the Packaging Department, providing assistance on the canning, kegging, casking and bottling lines. The Role
This physically demanding position involves regular lifting, and being on your feet for long periods.
Salary and other compensation: £26,500 (dependant on experience) per annum
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)

Packaging Team
The department of Packaging is responsible for packaging our products into can, keg, bottle and cask to the highest possible standard. The packaging team will consist of 4 core staff once this post has been filled: Packaging Team Coordinator, Packaging Operatives x2 and a Packaging Assistant.

Responsibilities
- Assist the packaging team with all beer packaging (cans, kegs, casks, bottles), as directed by the Packaging Team Coordinator.
- Operate pallet/forklift trucks for moving, loading, and unloading goods.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised Packaging area according to DEYA’s high expectations.
- Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Carry out stock takes of packaging materials as directed by the Packaging Team Coordinator.
- Participate in and contribute to monthly Packaging Team meetings chaired by the Packaging Team Coordinator.
- Demonstrate a positive work attitude and engage with DEYA products, contributing to continuous improvement within the role.
