Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts across the Group end to end
- Driving cash collections & reducing aged debt
- Building strong relationships with key customers to resolve issues quickly
- Handling queries and disputes with a proactive, solutions focussed approach
- Reviewing credit limits and monitoring customer risk
- Producing aged debt reports and supporting Group cash flows
- Working closely with Sales, Technical Services & Finance teams to improve processes
- Develop and implement credit control policies and best practices
- Managing month end process end to end, producing reconciliations, reporting to stakeholders and Sales Ledger close adhering to strict deadlines
- Other ad hoc duties & projects as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Credit Control, ideally at senior level.
- Strong track record of managing your own ledgers independently
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using finance systems and Excel
- Previous experience of dealing with EU VAT invoicing complexities, multicurrency transactions, translations, foreign exchange differences desirable
