Senior Project Manager | Lancashire (Hybrid) | Up to £50,000
A fantastic client of ours is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their delivery team. You'll be taking ownership of complex, client-facing project and programme delivery while also playing a key role in mentoring and developing junior members of the PM team.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programmes, managing time, cost, quality and scope
- Managing client stakeholders from project team level through to executive and board level
- Producing and maintaining key project artefacts, business cases, status reports and financial tracking
- Supporting pre-sales activity through scoping, planning and estimating
- Driving continuous improvement across delivery frameworks, processes and templates
- Supporting, mentoring and potentially line managing junior Project Managers
You'll need:
- Strong foundation in a client-facing project management role
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects and programmes in a commercial environment
- Experience managing large project budgets
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Background in SaaS or software delivery environments
- Solid understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies
- PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualified
- MSP Foundation and Practitioner qualification
- Experience with project portfolio management tools
- Background in a regulated or specialist industry
