Trainee Accountant – Lincoln Office

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent college leaver to join our friendly and supportive team as a Trainee Accountant in our Lincoln office, located just a 20-minute walk from Lincoln Cathedral and offering free on-site parking.

About the Role:
This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a college course inAccounting or a similar subject (minimum AAT Level 2 or similar) and is looking to take the next step in their accountancy career.

You will receive hands-on training and mentoring from experienced team members, gaining practical experience in:

• Preparing accounts
• Bookkeeping
• VAT return preparation

We\’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in accountancy and business
• Works well within a team
• Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Possesses good IT skills and the ability to manage time effectively

Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5pm
Friday: 9am – 4.00pm

Requirements:

• Minimum GCSE Level 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Level 2 AAT (or equivalent)
• Ability to reliably commute to Lincoln or plan to relocate before starting
