We are currently seeking the expertise of an Instructional Designer – Leadership Development to join our team from our office based in Bedford, NS.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Leadership Development, the Instructional Designer – Leadership Development will be responsible for creating and designing educational materials and resources to support leadership development initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop classroom based, instructor-led training programs using adult learning principles to drive engagement and retention.
- Design and develop learner-led online training programs, including microlearning modules, using adult learning principles.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate content into clear, interactive learning experiences.
- Create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint decks, activities, case studies).
- Integrate assessment strategies (e.g., knowledge checks, role plays, scenario-based evaluations) to measure learning outcomes.
- Support program evaluation strategies (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) to assess effectiveness and long‐term behaviour change.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining high‐quality standards.
- Stay up to date on the latest leadership development topics and practices by researching, reading and participating in development initiatives.
- Other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in instructional design.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with RISE and Storyline for online development.
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
- Thrive in a fast paced, changing and collaborative work environment.
- Post‐secondary education in adult education is preferred.
