The Data Administrator reports to the Corporate Safety Systems Manager and performs administrative work in support of the Organization’s Health & Safety Program and its associated processes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data entry and maintaining of tracking databases
- Reconciling and analyzing data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and data integrity
- Filing electronic and paper documents
- Assisting with projects and helping to develop reports and presentations
- Providing support to employees with regards to accessing health and safety information and other resources
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Planning and organization skills, ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Experience in an office administrative role is considered an asset
- Experience with safety system management software (e.g., eCompliance) and online contractor management platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta) is considered an asset
