Dext is a fast-growing Fintech transforming bookkeeping through AI and machine learning. Our platform empowers accountants, bookkeepers and businesses to simplify accounting processes and make smarter, more timely financial decisions. In 2024, Dext joined the IRIS Software Group, further strengthening our ability to deliver end-to-end accountancy solutions. We've achieved 99.5% data accuracy, saved over 35 million hours of manual data entry, and are trusted by 12,000 firms and 700,000 businesses globally.

This role drives both accountants and bookkeeping practices who bring their client base with them, and businesses who come to us directly.

We're looking for someone to own Dext's paid digital media end-to-end: the strategy, the money, the measurement and the outcome. This is a full-funnel role. You'll build demand at the top with impression-led, brand and category-building campaigns, then capture and convert it at the bottom into trials, qualified leads, activated users and MRR. Most people are good at one half of this; we need someone who treats the two halves as one system.

You'll deploy over £1m of annual paid budget across UK & Ireland, Europe, South Africa, North America and APAC, paid search, paid social, Reddit, YouTube, DV360 display and programmatic, marketplace and review-site CPC programmes, and emerging channels. Our agency executes day-to-day; strategy, direction and accountability sit with you.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Set the strategy for brand and demand-creation campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, programmatic display and Reddit.
  • Own paid search, paid social and retargeting across both direct and partner-sourced motions, competing on review platforms like Capterra, G2 and GetApp as well as against direct competitors.
  • Drive demand and capture it, turning intent into trials, MQLs and activations, efficiently, every month, in every market.
  • Run the creative testing programme for paid, briefing agency and brand partners, and using AI tools to multiply variants at pace.
  • Own budget deployment and in-quarter reallocation across all regions, managing to cost per MQL, cost per activation and CAC payback.
  • Own the conversion measurement chain: tracking, server-side tagging, consent, offline conversions and reconcile platform-reported results with our own analytics.
  • Present performance, allocation decisions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders monthly and quarterly.

About you, what we are looking for:

  • You care about evidence far more than years served or certifications.
  • You've owned meaningful paid budget across multiple channels and markets, and can talk specifically about allocation calls you got right and wrong.
  • You've worked both halves of the funnel; you can make a credible upper-funnel case to a sceptical CFO, and grind out efficiency at the bottom.
  • You're hands-on, you've built and run campaigns yourself and could again tomorrow.
  • You're technically fluent on measurement: conversion tracking, attribution and its limits, and feeding first-party data back into platforms.
  • You can direct an agency and know when they're wrong; you can read an account structure or a QBR deck and spot what's being glossed over.
  • AI is already your default way of working: variant generation, analysis, reporting, campaign QA and you can point to workflows you've built and what they changed.

Nice to have:

  • B2B SaaS or subscription experience, mixing self-serve trial and sales-led motions.
  • Experience marketing to accountants, bookkeepers or another professional-services audience.
  • Incrementality testing, geo experiments or Marketing Mix Modelling.
