Dexerto is looking for a Snapchat Producer to join our growing video team. This role is perfect for a creative editor and storyteller who can produce engaging Snapchat content daily, using both existing Dexerto content and original stories sourced online. You will be responsible for pitching, editing, and publishing short form content that informs and entertains, keeping Dexerto at the forefront of gaming, influencer, and internet culture coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce, edit and publish daily content for Snapchat Discover
  • Repurpose existing Dexerto video, article and social content into engaging short form packages
  • Source and develop stories from across the internet relevant to gaming, influencers and entertainment
  • Write punchy, platform native scripts and headlines
  • Create vertical first edits using Premiere Pro or similar tools
  • Collaborate with Dexerto’s editorial and social teams to ensure alignment with our brand voice
  • Track performance analytics and optimise content for engagement and retention
  • Manage the full process from concept to final delivery, often working independently
  • Maintain fast turnaround while meeting deadlines in a news driven environment

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience producing content for Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram Reels or similar vertical video platforms
  • Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop
  • Excellent eye for storytelling, pacing and visual design in short form formats
  • Knowledge of gaming, influencer and internet culture
  • Strong editorial judgement for finding stories that resonate with a young, digital first audience
  • Ability to balance speed with quality under tight deadlines
  • Organised, detail oriented and comfortable working independently as well as within a team
  • A self starter who brings creative ideas to the table daily

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience writing or editing scripts for social video
  • Graphic design or motion graphics skills
  • Understanding of Snapchat analytics and optimisation
