The Role

Dexerto is looking for a Head of Social to lead platform strategy, performance, and execution across the entire social portfolio. This role is responsible for setting direction, driving growth, and ensuring Dexerto’s social output is fast, smart, brand-safe, and consistently best-in-class. You will sit at the intersection of editorial, production, and commercial teams; translating data into strategies that help to increase follower growth, reach and monetisation.

What You Will Do

  • Own and lead the social platform strategy across all Dexerto brands, ensuring each platform has a clear purpose, audience focus, and growth plan.
  • Set priorities, frameworks, and expectations for how content is created, optimised, and distributed across platforms.
  • Act as the senior point of accountability for social output and performance.
  • Oversee monetisation and revenue generated through AVOD and platform-native opportunities.
  • Work closely with editorial, production, and commercial teams to align social output with wider company objectives.
  • Feed back regularly on what is working, what is not, and where opportunities exist across content, formats and partnerships.
  • Step in to plug gaps across platforms when required, ensuring continuity of output.
  • You will have the opportunity to lead key initiatives, take ownership of projects, and grow with the company as we continue to scale.
  • Geographical freedom - You can work from anywhere, as long as you’re available during the UK timezone.

  • Proven experience leading social strategy and performance for large, high-growth media or creator-led brands.
  • Knowledge of gaming, streamer and entertainment culture.
  • Deep understanding of platform mechanics, distribution, and optimisation across social.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, news-driven environments.
  • Strong communicator who can align teams and influence stakeholders.
