This company builds an AI data‑integration platform, automating document processing and natural‑language data retrieval for enterprise customers. Their platform operates in some of the world's most sensitive financial data environments, where SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR aren't just checkboxes – they're foundational. Following significant Series A funding, they're scaling the infrastructure that underpins it all. You’ll be at the core of this scale‑up, reporting directly to the founders. This isn't a siloed DevOps role; you’ll architect and operate the entire Azure footprint – AKS clusters, Terraform resources, Dockerised services, and GitHub Actions pipelines for all product teams. You’ll own the infrastructure that enables enterprise‑grade security and compliance, building guardrails that empower product engineers to ship fast, securely.
The work
- Architect and operate the entire Azure platform, from AKS clusters and Terraform‑managed resources to Dockerised services and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive infrastructure readiness for critical SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, ensuring enterprise‑grade security and compliance.
- Implement and own product‑wide observability, monitoring, and on‑call processes across a growing platform.
- Design and enforce guardrails that enable product engineers to ship rapidly, without compromising security or cost efficiency.
What You Bring
- 4‑7 years of end‑to‑end platform, infrastructure, or DevOps experience, ideally in a high‑growth, high‑load environment.
- Deep, production‑level expertise operating Azure (AKS, networking, IAM, security controls). This isn't a learning role.
- Proven track record designing Terraform modules and platform‑level GitHub Actions CI/CD.
- Experience implementing production logging, metrics, and tracing, alongside advanced networking (VPCs, private networking, DNS, firewalls).
- Direct experience preparing infrastructure for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR audits.
