This role is with one of Dex's trusted partner companies. We work closely with their teams to truly understand their culture, goals, and what they're looking for, so we can match you with the right opportunity and give you context about the role before you commit to a process.
The role
This company builds the intelligence layer that intercepts scams before payments clear. Their real-time investigation engine, powered by a growing fleet of AI agents, delivers critical risk decisions to leading financial institutions. They're backed by leading investors and are rapidly expanding internationally.
You’ll own the infrastructure that makes those AI agents reliable: the orchestration layer, workflow management, data pipelines, and security boundaries. This isn't about prototyping; it's about designing and shipping LLM-powered flows in production, building stateful investigation workflows with graceful failure handling, and constructing the RAG pipelines and knowledge graphs that feed agent reasoning. You'll operate at the intersection of AI systems and critical financial infrastructure, with significant ownership over the platform's architecture and security.
The work
- Design and evolve the multi-agent platform architecture for AI-driven investigations.
- Build robust, stateful investigation workflows with graceful failure handling and async execution.
- Construct RAG pipelines and knowledge graphs over mixed structured and unstructured data.
- Own security, auditability, and responsible handling of sensitive financial data across the stack.
- Drive the adoption and evolution of orchestration frameworks like Temporal and AI frameworks like LangChain in a production environment.
What You Bring
- Proven experience designing and shipping LLM-powered systems in production, including multi-agent architectures.
- Hands‑on expertise with stateful workflow orchestration ("e.g., Temporal, Prefect"), covering async execution, retries, and partial failure handling.
- Strong background in building RAG pipelines and knowledge graphs, with excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
- Deep understanding of security foundations: authn/authz patterns, secrets management, and secure system design for sensitive data.
- 5+ years in an early‑stage company, comfortable structuring your own work and making architectural decisions independently.
