This is a true full‑stack seat with end‑to‑end ownership, from React and Next.js on the front end to Python (Django/FastAPI) services on the back, through CI/CD, containers, and cloud deployments. You will collaborate closely with founders, designers, and other engineers on high‑impact features, contribute to infrastructure planning, and mentor junior developers.
The Work
- Design, build, and ship high‑impact features end‑to‑end across the full stack (React/Next.js, Python/Django/FastAPI).
- Implement and scale critical backend services, including background workers and Redis‑backed queues, handling complex data flows.
- Contribute to core infrastructure planning and deployment strategies across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Drive CI/CD improvements and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) to ensure robust, secure deployments in highly regulated environments.
- Mentor junior engineers, shaping the technical direction and best practices of a rapidly growing team.
What You Bring
- 5+ years shipping production software end‑to‑end, with deep expertise in React/Next.js and Python (Django/FastAPI) backends.
- Strong fundamentals in relational/NoSQL databases, background workers/task queues (e.g., Celery, RQ), and Redis for caching/job management.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative Git workflow.
