Salary: Up to £200,000 base + Significant Equity
This role is with one of Dex's trusted partner companies. We work closely with their teams to truly understand their culture, goals, and what they're looking for, so we can match you with the right opportunity and give you context about the role before you commit to a process.
The role involves founding-engineer-level equity at well-funded London AI startups, with up to £160k base. You will have real partnership with founders, make foundational technical decisions, and experience the kind of career compounding that only comes with being early at a company that works. We collaborate with multiple seed and pre-Series A AI startups across software engineering agents, sales, recruitment, customer service, healthcare, and financial operating systems. These startups have strong founders, real funding, and clear theses.
The work:
- Build the first version of the product alongside the founders
- Make foundational decisions on stack, architecture, infrastructure
- Ship daily, talk to users weekly, iterate constantly
- Hire and shape the engineering team as the company scales
What you bring:
- Strong full-stack background, typically TypeScript, Python, or Rust
- Track record at early-stage startups or as a strong senior IC at a scale-up
