Join a 13‑person engineering team building the operating system driving the UK’s home decarbonisation effort.
The platform powers installers, reducing job times and increasing sales conversions, and will expand into solar, batteries and the broader renewables supply chain.
Role Overview You will take technical ownership of core systems, writing high‑leverage code.
The role involves heat‑loss physics, geospatial analysis, Li DAR‑driven 3D floor plans and offline‑first PWAs.
This position is for a senior IC ready to step into formal leadership, or an experienced lead who wishes to remain deeply technical.
Responsibilities Define technical direction and architecture for critical systems, writing foundational code and reference implementations.
Solve complex problems in heat‑loss physics, scalable geospatial analysis and Li DAR‑driven 3D modelling.
Build offline‑first collaborative PWAs and integrate with field measurement hardware via Bluetooth.
Lead the expansion of the platform into new domains such as solar, batteries and the broader renewables supply chain.
Qualifications Deep fluency in modern Type Script across the stack: React, Node, Prisma, with strong API design and relational data modelling.
Proven track record owning ambiguous, end‑to‑end projects with real‑world constraints (physical, hardware, geospatial).
Experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering a high‑trust technical culture.
A product‑minded approach: seeking user feedback and understanding the real‑world impact of your work.
