This role is with one of Dex's trusted partner companies.
We work closely with their teams to truly understand their culture, goals, and what they're looking for, so we can match you with the right opportunity and give you context about the role before you commit to a process.
The role
This company builds the AI workspace that the world's largest banks and regulated institutions run their document-heavy work inside.
They're growing rapidly, backed by leading investors, and transforming how major financial institutions produce and validate client-ready work.
They've shipped everything on the web, but now need a native i OS app — not a wrapper, but a proper, performant experience for i Phone and i Pad.
You'll own the entire i OS architecture, from interaction patterns and offline behavior to testing and release.
This isn't just implementing features; it's defining the mobile future for a product used by global teams.
- The work
- Rebuild existing web products as native i OS experiences, deciding what translates directly and what needs reshaping for mobile.
- Define the entire i OS architecture, including interaction patterns, offline behavior, notifications, and performance standards.
- Own the i OS design system, ensuring coherence and maintainability as the product scales.
- Set up and maintain the testing, observability, and release pipelines for a production-grade native application.
- Collaborate directly with Design, Product, and web engineering teams to adapt existing surfaces without losing their core intent.
What You Bring
- You've built and shipped native i OS applications in Swift and Swift UI, with clear ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- You have strong judgment on mobile interaction patterns and offline behavior, understanding caching, syncing, and graceful degradation.
- You've designed i OS architecture that has scaled with a growing team and product, beyond a single, isolated app.
- You've owned and maintained an i OS design system, prioritizing its long-term maintainability.
- You're comfortable adapting complex product surfaces from web to native, working closely with cross-functional teams.
