This role provides an opportunity for an experienced social media professional to join and award-winning, industry leading team working across some of the most exciting projects in the West End.
The successful applicant will have proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, on various projects, and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. They will also be personable, flexible, and hard-working, willing to support the wider team members as required. Given the nature of the live entertainment and theatre industry, some evening and weekend work will be required.
Your Responsibilities:
Oversee and deliver the end-to-end management of a social strategy for a series of agency clients:
Client Liason:
- Successfully manage day-to-day relationships with clients, external and internal stakeholders
- Act as the first point of contact for all client queries and escalating any queries where necessary
- Attend client meetings and regularly report on the impact of the team\’s work
- Chair client meetings and present work on behalf of the social team during these meetings
- Manage expectations and feedback professionally, offering proactive solutions to clients to drive client satisfaction and retention
- Maintain a deep understanding of each client\’s brand, tone and audience ensuring all social content is aligned with their goals and voice
Reporting
- Create and monitor dashboards for weekly reporting using our preferred social suite, Brandwatch
Strategy:
- Develop and present tailored social media plans that align with each client\’s goals, audience insights and industry trends with the support of the Organic Social Strategy Lead
- Devise and manage opportunities for content capture, both photography and video
- Proactively monitor trending topics and flag relevant opportunities for our clients on a daily basis
- Remain up to date with developments and trends across the wider social media industry
- Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh, creative ideas to social campaigns to drive engagement
Social Channels:
- Diligently manage social channels for these clients across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads and more
- Brief and project manage the creation of social media assets
- Write innovative and effective social media copy in line with client brand guidelines
- Community Management, proactively monitoring and engaging with fan communities across all social platforms to encourage further interaction, community growth and the spread of word of mouth
Content Capture:
- Capture photo and video content on mobile and confidently direct cast members to ensure assets meet campaign objectives and platform requirements
Editing:
- Confident in light-touch photo editing, mobile first video editing and resizing content for various platforms, with a strong eye for transitions and capturing engaging, on-brand content
Requirements
Your skills/qualifications:
- Demonstratable experience working in social media, ideally in theatre, performing arts of entertainment
- Experience of successfully managing client relationships
- Experience of capturing photography and video for social media use, whether on a mobile phone or using more specialist equipment
- Have a keen interest in, or willingness to learn about theatre and the wider entertainment industry – from new openings and industry news to trending conversation topics
- Have excellent communication skills, including copywriting, with a firm grasp of spelling and grammar
- Have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a user of a wide variety of social media platforms or a member of other online communities
- Have experience of working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks and using Microsoft Office platforms
