Outreach Support Worker (Permanent Contract) – Supported Accommodation for Young People Full-time (35 hours) per week Salary: £20,930 (under review pending increase from 1st April) We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals, with at least 1 years’ experience of supporting young people, to join us as a Young Person's Outreach Support Worker delivering trauma-informed, outcome-focussed housing-related support and guidance to the young people accommodated within Dewis. As a vital member of our Support Team, you will work closely with our Support Officers, taking direction and working flexibly to provide essential support for our young people; this can involve some occasional onsite, weekend and/or evening work to meet their individual needs. At Dewis we aim to create a safe and secure environment for the young people we support and, as an Outreach Support Worker, you will: * Forge strong, trusting relationships. * Promote independent living skills and tenancy management. * Promote active participation within our service and the community * Be flexible and approachable * Support our On-Call Team as required providing cover or outreach support Please Note Dewis is an equal opportunities employer and our organisational values underpin how we support our young people and how we work as a staff team.
