A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a wonderful 8 year old little girl living in the Cyncoed area of Cardiff. I am a very content and happy little girl. I enjoy the park, softplay, swimming and dressing up. My family is looking for someone to take me to activities that I enjoy. I have a visual impairment and am profoundly deaf. I’m non-verbal, but I use a PECS board to communicate my basic needs. I can walk independently indoors but I need guidance when out and about due to my vision impairment and I use a wheelchair for medium to long distances.

I need someone to support me to access activities in my local community.

HOURS OF WORK
Hours of work can be flexible. Weekdays from 3:45pm to 5:45pm twice a week. Or Saturdays or Sundays any time between 10am and 6pm.
RATE OF PAY
£14.00 an hour
TASKS INVOLVED
- Taking me on social outings.
- Guiding me when out and about (including pushing a small wheelchair).
- Supporting me when needing the toilet.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
- A friendly, caring, trustworthy, patient person.
- Car driver with access to a car is essential.
- Experience working with disabled people is desirable.
- Experience working with children is desirable.
- Able to pick up a small, fold-up wheelchair.
