I am a lady in my 30's living in the Mountain Ash area with my husband. I have neurological disorders. I would like a PA to help me regain/rebuild my confidence, promote wellbeing and help me regain my independence and provide me with social interaction. I live on a hill and I also have a foldable scooter.
PURPOSE OF JOB
I am looking for a Personal Assistant to access the community and manage household tasks.
HOURS OF WORK
14 hours per week to be shared between 2 PAs.
RATES OF PAY
£12.00 per hour. Double time on bank holidays.
TASKS INVOLVED
- Ensure that all my needs are met.
- Ensure I am safe at all times.
- Support me to access the community.
- Support me around the home and with household tasks.
- Provide companionship.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
