PERSONAL ASSISTANT – Afternoon Hours

I’m a retired disabled man living near Upper Boat/Rhydyfelin, 3 miles from Pontypridd. I’m looking for the right person(s) to work for me as a PA in my home and occasionally support me in external activities. I have a current team of 5 PAs.

I have several afternoon slots that I need to fill with one or more new PAs, approximately between 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (£51.20), and to some extent, these hours are negotiable. The hourly rate is £12.80 for up to 12 hours per week. You can apply for one or more afternoons.

In this role, you would follow the same tasks undertaken by my other PAs. Some experience of working with paralysis and with a wheelchair user would be an advantage but not essential. You will be given the opportunity to shadow another PA to start with as induction.

Applicants must have a positive approach to disability, must be a driver, and a non-smoker.
