A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

Our 6 year old daughter has developmental and physical needs and requires support with day-to-day activities, such as personal care, dressing, food preparation and play. She is a very happy and gentle girl who loves to go to the park and trampolining.

PURPOSE OF JOB
Our daughter needs support with activities within our home as well as accessing the local community

PLACE OF WORK
We live in the Heath area of Cardiff. Travel away from normal place of work will be required on occasions.

HOURS OF WORK

We have 5 hours a week of support agreed between 3.00 – 5.30 twice a week on Monday and Friday.

RATE OF PAY

£14 an hour.

TASKS INVOLVED

Tasks may include assistance or support with the following:
Personal care and toileting needs
Dressing, undressing
Moving and Handling
Meals and preparation
Social outings e.g. trips to park, soft play
Any other reasonable task

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Essential qualities

● Reliable and punctual.
● Considerate, caring and trustworthy
● Common sense and initiative.
● Full driving licence and access to a car to transport our daughter.
● Flexible and adaptable to meet our daughter’s needs.
