A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an 18-year-old boy with Autism, seeking 2 personal assistants to accompany me outdoors, ensure my safety, and assist with activities I enjoy. I am cheerful, energetic, and humorous. I have limited speech but can communicate effectively with good rapport. I value kindness and trust. I may experience anxiety when uncomfortable.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure my safety at all times and assist with personal care and prompts.

PLACE OF WORK

Community outings to places I enjoy.

HOURS OF WORK

5 hours weekly, 2-1, initially on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday, with flexibility required.

RATE OF PAY

Competitive hourly rate (details to be discussed).

TASKS INVOLVED

• Taking long walks
• Playing football
• Engaging in other preferred activities

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Trustworthy and reliable
• Enjoys outdoor activities
• Good sense of humor
• Car driver with class one business use (preferable)
• Open to male or female applicants
• Kind and respectful
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with me and my family
• Experience working with autistic children
