SOMETHING ABOUT ME
I am a young man of 29 who lives in the Twynyrodyn area of Merthyr Tydfil with my mother and younger brother. I have an autistic spectrum disorder and therefore require additional support to enhance my social activities. I am extremely active and enjoy many things, like canoeing, Air shows, etc. I am very keen on sports and would like to go and watch some games with someone, for example rugby/football matches. I would like to do any activity that gets me out and about and doing fun interesting things outside of my family home. I need someone to support me while my mother is at work, I might need support with preparing food while I am at home. I am quite independent and I am able to tell you what I would like to do and where I would like to go, but I would need support getting to places and someone to stay with me whilst I am there.

The purpose of the job is to help me to maintain my independence and safety. I would like assistance with getting out and about and trying out new activities.
HOURS OF WORK
13 hours Friday and SaturdayRATE OF PAY
£14.00 per hour.
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
- Support me to pay for entrance tickets/handle money
- Support with visiting place
- Trying out new things, new activities
- Taking me to sport activities /Clubs
- Taking me to Rugby/football/Cricket matches
- Taking me out in your vehicle.
- Staying close by and supporting me if required.
- Support me in making appropriate choice of clothing.
