A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MYSELF I am a fifty‑three‑year‑old architect, who in the past ten years, have been suffering with multiple sclerosis. I live in Barry. My mobility has been affected, but I still manage most tasks myself. Constant fatigue and muscle weakness is my enemy. I would like to employ someone, for the long‑term. I have an exceptionally intelligent miniature poodle, called Milo, he is more a small child, rather than just a dog, so I am looking for someone who doesn’t mind dogs. He is very friendly. Unfortunately he has been used to having someone around all of the time, and gets overly anxious when left alone.
Purpose of the Job Your role is to support me to remain independent within my own home. My independence is extremely important to me.
Hours of Work 4 - 8 hours per week. I would prefer 2 PAs 4 hours each, so your application will mean you are willing to work a minimum of 4 hours per week. Also, you’d be able to pick up additional hours when the other PA is off.
Rates of Pay £14.50 per hour + 40p mileage when you use your car.
