Personal Assistant to provide overnight support for a 48‑year‑old male client with Down syndrome and dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sit with the client throughout the night to ensure safety.
  • Assist with bathroom trips as needed, typically 2–3 times.
  • Relocate the client safely to and from the restroom.
  • Cover scheduled holidays and sickness absence.
  • Maintain a calm and caring presence during the night.

Working Hours and Pay:

  • 1 evening per week, 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (overnight shift).
  • Additional hours available to cover annual leave.
  • Pay is £15.00 per hour, paid four‑weekly upon submission of a payslip.
  • Holidays and holiday pay provided.

Requirements:

  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • National Insurance number.
  • Suitable for enhanced DBS (police check) and able to undertake any required training.

Employment Details:

  • Trial period of six months.
  • Permanent role subject to DBS check and agreed training.
  • The position requires a National Insurance number and presents a weekly overnight shift.
