A professional assisting a lady living in the Whitchurch area of Cardiff with her morning routine and community activities. She has General Torsion Dystonia and uses a wheelchair.
Hours of Work: Every Tuesday and Friday, 6 hours each day. Ideally from around 10:00-10:30.
Rate of Pay: £14.80 per hour.
Tasks Involved:
- Support with morning routine.
- Support in the community for activities she enjoys; on Fridays she likes to go into town on the bus, look around and have a coffee.
Type of Person Required: Someone sociable with a good sense of humour. Reliable, dependable, punctual and committed. Manual handling training will be required and can be arranged.
About the Job: Though a part-time position, you will need to provide a National Insurance number. A probation period is required. Wages will be paid every four weeks, and you will receive 5.6 weeks of paid holiday on a pro-rata basis. A DBS check must be applied for at no expense to you. The role cannot be performed in your own home.
