Role: Personal Assistant

Location: At my home and in the local community.

Work Hours: 4 hours per week, divided into 2 one‑hour shifts, flexibly worked between Mon‑Fri afternoons usually 2‑4pm.

Pay: £15.55 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping me safe by supporting me in my home.
  • Prompt and encourage me to engage in some physio for my hands and complete tasks around my home.
  • Assist with some personal care.
  • Support with accessing my local community to aid my mobility.

Requirements:

  • Mindful of my conditions.
  • Patient, reliable, dependable, punctual.
  • Adhere to confidentiality.
  • Must have a satisfactory reference and DBS (Police) check.
  • Have the right to work in the UK and a National Insurance number.

Other Information:

  • The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) check, which will be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
  • The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK before you start work.
  • Though a part‑time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.
  • A trial period will be necessary in the first instance.
  • The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
