A Little About Myself
I am a full time mum of two, one who has complex care needs. I would like someone to help accompany me to access public transport or drive me to places of social engagements and/or shopping and to take me to attend educational courses. I am a female person in my mid 30’s with a learning disability. I live in the Birchgrove/Heath area of Cardiff. I require patience and assistance with day-to-day activities, such as time keeping, food preparation and accessing public transportation when I go out and about to visit friends/family/appointments. I am a quiet person when you first meet me; it takes me a while to trust and communicate with people. Due to my learning disability, I find it difficult to understand social situations; however, I am kind and would like someone supportive in these circumstances.
Hours of Work
I have 6 hours a week of support agreed, which I need to use flexibly. Ideally, I would have two personal assistants who would work not necessarily equally, to cover the hours available.
