Purpose of Job: To support me with my daily living and assisting me out in the community.

Hours of Work: 6 hours per week to work 2 x 3 hour shifts or 1 x 6 hour shift. Preferably Thursdays and/or Fridays.

Rates of Pay: £15.50 per hour + Mileage.

Tasks Involved:

  • Supporting me to go out in the community.
  • Always supporting me to make sure I am safe.
  • Help me find new activities and places to go.
  • Any other reasonable tasks.

About the Job: Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check – which will be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
