The main purpose of the job is to accompany the employee to places they enjoy, whilst ensuring safety at all times. The role is based in the Aberdare area.
Hours of Work: 16 hours per week – flexible, during the week and on a Saturday.

Responsibilities:
- Talk to the employee and build a good trusting relationship.
- Support the employee to go out and do social activities.
- Take trips in the car to activities the employee enjoys.
- Ensure the employee's safety is always a priority.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, flexible and have patience.
- Mature attitude, calm and energetic.
- Driver with own car and business class insurance.
- Experience working with young people with ASD is essential.
- Comfortable around dogs.
Benefits and Conditions:
- Subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
- Part-time but permanent position; submission of a National Insurance number required.
- Probationary period applies.
- Wage paid monthly upon receipt of a payslip from Dewis Centre for Independent Living.
- 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata).
- Required to attend any identified training.
