Dewey Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Welder for a piling project based in Weston-super-Mare, working on the welding of permanent steel casings. This position is offered on an initial contract, with the potential for long-term ongoing work, subject to performance and project requirements.
Role Details:
- Location: Weston-super-Mare
- Project Type: Piling β permanent steel casing welding
- Contract: Initial contract with potential for long-term ongoing work
- Hours: 50 hours per week + available
- Additional opportunities for overtime and weekend work where required
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding permanent steel casings for piling operations
- Carrying out on-site welding in line with project specifications and method statements
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality
- Working closely with piling operatives, supervisors, and site management
- Complying with all site health & safety requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Welder on construction or civil engineering projects
- Experience welding steel casings for piling works preferred
- Relevant welding qualifications/certifications
- Strong understanding of health and safety on site
- Ability to work long hours and be flexible with shifts
- Valid right to work in the UK
